  • He does hold a surprising amount of odd respect, even twisted admiration for Captain Briano of the Liberators Army, as to a lesser extent, Lieutenant Vivian. He finds them at once to be both frustrating and yet fascinating opponents in battle and the few, if not only, individuals whom he considers his equal.
  • Xezan does hold a modicum of professional respect with members of his army CO's that he considers worthy of his consideration, though this is only applied to a limited number of CO's and underlings and to various degrees.
  • He appears to also hold bitterness when it comes to the worlds suffering and is motivated out of his contempt and hatred for the world and the things in it: seeking the destruction of both in order to reforge the world in his and the Dark Gods image.

He is also one of the few, if not only, Crabs of the Obliterators to be capable of human speech. He is a staunch devotee of the Obliterators cause and the Dark God's commands. Precursors and Sub-factions[]

Originally, the Obliterators precursors consisted of the "Black Elite Guards" and the "Abyss of Darkness Army" respectively. These precursor armies are considered the initial, fledgling forces after they were illuminated and guided by the Dark God and led by Xezan, with the Abyss of Darkness being the major regular arm and the Black Elite Guards being considered Xezan personal guard detail and inner circle battalion forces, though they are seen and treated as almost synonymous baring the only difference being the number of forces and their unit strengths and force multipliers. The Obliterators Army are what the two aforementioned forces and thier expanded numbers eventually coalesced into at the height of their power and strength.

One confirmed Sub-faction included the "Forgotten Ones", which consists of sentient chaos crabs touched by the Dark God. This sub faction is led by Zakum the Sea Lord.

Another sub-faction included Etaphravren a clandestine sub-faction that is quoted as being, quote: "A mysterious group, use strange technology as both power source and weapon. Curioused by the "Artifact" in Bivalve island, they dispatch their warriors to investigate this matter." It's Pro's include: High morale and numbers, though it's Con's consist of : Limited strategy and bad teamwork (namely Humans with humans). "The forces of natures" is a combat element of the Etaphravren is a force comprised of Reared and trained the mutant crabs for war, they love to send them to front line even though they took quite a hell of trouble to raise them up. Other then crabs, they also used other mutant species. Darkness Army soldiers assigned to the Etaphravern are noted to have huge numbers that are used for many things such as control and maintain base and used as bodyshield for other warriors, They are equipped with most lousiest armor and weapon to reduce the cost funds. The newly joined members has to go though this stage of hell for 1 YEAR before they can get power and promoted into true warriors of the deadly Etaphravren groups. Despited being weak and easily die, the huge number can almost cover up their Cons. Survives for less than 6 months is without mask. Survives for more than 6 months is with mask. Dark Troopers of the Etapharavern is the main fighting warriors force. Trained to be fierce and aggressive, powerful and strong. Love to order DA soldiers to suicide missions. They can be upgraded to heavy laser with some chemical mixed inside, it can be turned into flamethrower by litting the gun tips which will burns the chemical inside the laser. Not even flame proof can stop this demonic flames.

Trivia[]

  • "The Abyss of Darkness" Army and the "Black Elite Guards" (AKA. B.E.G): were the initial precursor armies of what would become the Obliterators when Xezan first began making sprite comics
  • "The Forgotten ones" are considered a sub-faction of the Obliterators and it's precursors and is considered a beloved, amusing element to the Army for consisting of weaponized, Dark Chaos empowered Crabs.
  • The Forgotten Ones Speak in their own Chaos Crab Language, though some may be capable of speaking English, most notably Zakum the Deep Sea Lord.
  • The Obliterators past incarnations were originally allied with the World Eaters (WE) faction alliance in Season 3 of the Western Campaign, but in Season 4 of the Western Campaign they than allied with the Terren dominion (TD) faction alliance.
  • The other subfaction of the Obliterators, the Etaphravren, was created and intended for a Bivelve Island Campaign.
  • While the actual name and true identity of the Dark God is not yet known: some theories put forth pontificate that the Dark God may be either Malice/Malal of the Warhammer/Warhammer 40K universe, or alternatively it could be some yet unknown renegade or outcast Chaos God of Darkness (possibly from the of the 40K canon) seeking it's ascension from the shadows. While the aesthetic and themes of the Obliterators and various sub-factions serving this Dark God and committing wanton acts of terrorist butchery, death and evil in it's service with indiscriminate and anarchic tendency toward destruction, even of itself and its own agents; seem to be at least nods and possible references to the Hierarch of Anarchy and Terror that is Malal. However, at this time it's too ambiguous to say definitively wither the Dark God is actually Malal.
    • It's worth noting that Malal's favored colors are black and white. The Obliterators Army's favored colors are primarily black, red, and green, though grey, purple and blue are sometimes seen, if rarely. Another detail was that some implications in 40K canon that Malal might have a connection or hand in guiding the Tyranids (or so some theories put forth with little evidence to confirm), however, the Dark God that the Obliterators serve has an unknown but sizable number of Necrons in the Obliterators fold, which further raises questions. In any case; the exact identity of the Dark God remains unknown and uncertain.
